Our lives don't fit neatly into silos, and neither do portraits. You may come in for a headshot, an executive or family portrait, a branding image, or a legacy portrait — at any age, from high school senior to senior citizen. Then a quiet moment slips in, or an unexpected giggle interrupts a serious frame, and together we make something even better than planned. To me, they're all portraits — each a way to discover, and then with light, honor what's true and unique about you.

Some clients arrive after months of planning; others stop in on a lunch break - unshaven. Both leave with a portrait they're glad to have. Whether the stubble stays or meets Photoshop is entirely up to them. 

Look around and imagine how you'd like to be seen and remembered. Your portrait is a gift to the people who love you and to yourself.
